Wheelie Bin Cleaning Service – Terms & Conditions
1. Service Schedule
Our service is provided on a fortnightly basis only. Customers must ensure that bins are placed at the kerbside or in an agreed accessible location on the scheduled service day.
2. Bin Accessibility
Bins must be clearly visible and accessible for cleaning. If bins are not left kerbside or accessible, the service may be missed and a charge will still apply.
If assistance is required to retrieve bins, this must be agreed with us in advance.
3. Missed Services
If a bin is not available for cleaning on the scheduled date, the service will be recorded as missed due to customer unavailability, and full payment will remain due.
4. Subscription Agreement
By signing up to our service, you agree to a minimum term of 6 months of fortnightly cleaning services.
After the initial 6-month period, the service automatically converts to a monthly rolling (pay-as-you-go) agreement, which may be cancelled at any time with notice prior to the next billing cycle.
5. Initial Clean
The first clean is charged at the standard maintenance rate of £3.50, on the condition that the customer commits to the minimum 6-month service term.
6. Payment Terms
Customers are responsible for ensuring all payments are made fortnightly or monthly as agreed.
This is a pay-as-you-go service, and by subscribing, you agree to pay for each scheduled service in full and on time.
7. Payment Method
All payments are collected via GoCardless Direct Debit. By subscribing, you authorise us to collect payments in accordance with the agreed schedule.
9. Debt Recovery
If an account remains unpaid after reasonable attempts to collect payment:
- The debt may be referred to a third-party debt collection agency.
- You agree to pay all reasonable costs and fees incurred in recovering the debt, including administrative costs, collection fees, and legal expenses, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Enforcement Action
Where necessary, we reserve the right to pursue the outstanding balance through the County Court.
If a County Court Judgment (CCJ) is obtained and remains unpaid, the debt may be enforced by certified enforcement agents (bailiffs).
All enforcement costs permitted under applicable legislation will be added to the outstanding balance and payable by the customer.
11. Customer Responsibility
Customers must notify us promptly of any changes, including but not limited to:
- Change of address
- Moving property
- Changes affecting service access
Failure to notify us may result in continued charges and liability for outstanding balances.
12. Cancellations
Cancellation is not permitted during the initial 6-month term.
After this period, customers may cancel at any time by providing notice prior to the next billing cycle.
